Terms and conditions

The general conditions of sale form a set which forms an integral part of the room reservation contract and whose overall acceptance is mandatory before the conclusion of any reservation. The reservation request entails acceptance of these general conditions of sale and full and unreserved acceptance of their provisions.

 

1. Application

These general conditions of sale apply to room reservation operations with or without breakfast, half board or full board and to additional services consumed on site during the period of stay at the hotel. These general conditions of sale concluded by the Hotel Carlit in Font-Romeu with its individual customers.

 

2. Capacity :

Any CUSTOMER acknowledges having the capacity to contract, i.e. being of legal majority and not being under curatorship or guardianship.

 

3. Price :

Prices are in euros. VAT is always included. The prices indicated only include the services strictly mentioned in the reservation. To the price mentioned in the reservation will be added, during invoicing, the additional services provided to the CLIENT on site at the hotel during the stay and, where applicable, the tourist tax. The prices mentioned on the Carlit Hotel website are subject to change without notice and only the price indicated in the booking confirmation is contractual.

 

4. Terms of payment:

Any room reservation request will be accompanied by a deposit payment, a sine qua non condition for registering the reservation as firm. The deposit is equal to 40% of the total amount of the reservation contract. The payment of the deposit implies knowledge and acceptance of these General Conditions of Sale, in particular the conditions for cancellation of the reservation by the CLIENT. The deposit can be paid by the following means:

  • Debit of your bank card in Distance Selling on the secure network.
  • Bank transfer, subject to effective receipt of the deposit at the latest, 15 DAYS (fifteen days) before the date of stay,

Check, subject to actual receipt of the amount of the deposit, 15 days (fifteen days) before the date of stay.

For any reservation made, a credit card number, the expiry date and the cryptogram number are necessary for confirmation of the reservation. The customer expressly authorizes the hotel “Le Christiania” to debit the entire stay. If the customer does not show up, the hotel “Le Christiania” will directly debit the customer for the entire stay. The reservation by telephone induces the acceptance by the customer of these General Conditions of Sale which are published on the website and displayed at the entrance of the hotel. The deposit is not refundable.

 

5. Payment of the balance of the reservation:

The balance of the reservation will be paid on the CLIENT’s arrival at the hotel when the keys are handed over or on the day of departure from the hotel. A credit card imprint will be requested from the CUSTOMER as a guarantee of the additional services that will be consumed during the stay.

For reservations with more than 3 rooms, the balance of the reservation must be paid 15 days before the stay.

 

6. Early termination of the stay by the CLIENT:

Any stay booked or started at the hotel “Le Christiania” is due in full in accordance with the reservation made by the customer and the customer expressly authorizes the hotel “Le Christiania” to debit his credit card for the entire stay. No reduction or discount will be made in the event of non-arrival or early departure, at the initiative of the customer, for whatever reason. Any stay booked with half board will be charged at the current rate whether meals (dinners) have been taken or not.

 

7. Modification of a reservation:

Any request to modify a reservation must be made as soon as possible and at the latest 48 hours before the stay, subject to impossibility or refusal by the hotel Le Christiania. The reservation modification is only firm and final after receipt by the CLIENT and by email of the reservation confirmation sent by the Hotel Le Christiania. Requests for modifications may lead, where applicable, to the application of the cancellation conditions.

 

8. Conditions for canceling the stay

8-1 In case of cancellation all the deposit is lost. The CUSTOMER will be charged 40% of the total reservation.

8-2 In the event of cancellation made within a period of less than or equal to 15 days, the CLIENT will be invoiced for the entire stay. In this case, the total amount of the stay remains acquired without the CUSTOMER being able to claim any reimbursement.

To cancel a reservation, the CUSTOMER is invited to contact the Hotel Le Christiania either by email or by telephone. The cancellation of a reservation requested by email will only be effective after the Hotel Le Christiania has sent a confirmation of cancellation by email to the CLIENT. The date of receipt of the cancellation request (by email, post, telephone) will be the date retained for the cancellation. In the event of no-show of the CUSTOMER at the hotel and in the absence of cancellation, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.

It is up to the CUSTOMER to contract with his insurer or the cancellation insurance offered by the hotel Le Christiania the necessary travel insurance allowing him to be covered in the event that he has to cancel his stay, postpone his departure on vacation, shorten their stay, or even be repatriated in an emergency. Please note that the cancellation cover is only valid if it is taken out at the same time as your reservation.

 

9. Major force

The obligations contained herein will not be applicable or will be suspended if their
execution has become impossible due to a case of force majeure such as in particular: act of public power, hostilities, war, act of the Prince, natural disaster, fire, flood, strikes without notice… The parties must implement all their efforts to prevent or reduce
the effects of a breach of contract caused by an event of force majeure; the party wishing to invoke an event of force majeure must immediately notify the other party of the beginning and the end of this event, otherwise it cannot be discharged from its liability.

10. Dislodgement

In the event of non-availability of the establishment, in the event of force majeure, a technical problem in the Hotel or for any other reason, the latter reserves the right to have Customers accommodated in whole or in part in a Hotel of the equivalent for services of the same nature. The Hotel cannot be sought for payment of any additional compensation.

 

11.Transport

It is specified that the Hotel does not provide any service related to transport. He can therefore under no circumstances
be held responsible for problems related to the transport of Customers (delay, cancellation, etc. …)

 

12. Breaches, damage by the customer

Damage, damage by the customer: The rooms and facilities of the hotel “Le Christiania” are in normal working order. In the event of degradation or deterioration, by the client or the persons staying with him, of the room or of the materials and equipment made available to him (television, remote control, telephone, key, etc.), the restoration, repair or any replacement will be at his expense and will therefore be invoiced to him.

Also, any behavior contrary to morality and public order will lead the Hotelier to ask the Customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and/or without any refund if payment has already been made.

 

13. Animals

Pets are allowed in the hotel under certain conditions. Any Client who comes
accompanied by an animal without the prior agreement of the hotel Le Christiania will be refused access to the hotel and the cancellation conditions article 8-2 will be applied.

 

14. Tobacco

It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the hotel in accordance with the law of January 2
2008. Failure to comply with this prohibition may result in cancellation of stay under article 12.

 

15. Responsabilité

The Hotel cannot be held liable in the event of changes to the structure of any kind whatsoever: sale of establishment, closure of establishment, etc. The photos presented on the website are not contractual. Even if all the best efforts are made so that the photographs, graphic representations and the texts reproduced to illustrate the Hotel presented give as accurate an overview as possible of the accommodation services offered, variations may occur, in particular due to the change of furniture or possible renovations.
The Customer cannot claim any claim as a result. The Hotel will not incur any
liability for all consequential damages resulting from the present, in particular loss
of exploitation, made by a third party, made by the Client or made by its partners

 

16. Amendment

These T&Cs may be modified at any time. In this case, the Hotel will send the modifications to the Customer before the start of the services. Therefore, the new version of the T&Cs
will apply to the relations between the parties.

 

17. Partial nullity

The invalidity of one or more articles of these GCS will not result in the invalidity of the whole of
these. All the other stipulations of the present will remain applicable and will produce all their
effects.

 

18. Complaints and Disputes

In the event of a dispute, claim or disagreement on part of the invoice, the Customer undertakes to pay the undisputed part without delay and to indicate in writing to the establishment concerned the reason and the amount of the dispute, within a period of 7 days from the date of the end of the accommodation. After this period, the service and the invoicing are considered accepted and cannot give rise to any subsequent complaint by the Customer. In the event of a dispute, and in the absence of an amicable agreement, the competent courts will be those of the place of the registered office of the company operating the establishment, i.e. the Court of TARBES.

 

19. Governing Law

The applicable law is French law.

 

20. Election of domicile

All written communications between the parties (letters, notifications, emails, etc.) must be sent for the Hotel to its postal or electronic address, and for the Customer to the postal or electronic address indicated in the reservation.

 

21. Additional Services
The services offered by the Hotel such as reservation of packages or rental of equipment are governed by the conditions of sale of the service providers concerned.
